Very elegant pair of small ceramic vases, hand painted and decorated with gold leaf on a glossy black glaze. The interiors are dark plummy red. These look beautiful as part of a display or table setting. No makers mark, but each is stamped ‘foreign’, and with a serial number. They look Bohemian to me. In very good vintage condition, no nibbles, cracks etc. A tiny bit of wear to the gilt at the rim but it’s minimal, and commensurate with age. Measures approx 13cm high....more
