A wonderful addition to any mid century collection Vardi’s unmistakable 1970s Cornrose range featuring a floral corn poppy design will bring a stylish retro touch to your morning coffee or afternoon tea with friends. The classic rustic brown Cornrose outlined pattern was created using a resist screen-printing method where a cream background was glazed over the chocolate brown body. The Hornsea England Oven to Tableware - Oven Microwave Dishwasher Freezer - Cornrose makers mark is on the base. The bowl is in great condition with no crazing and no chips only very minor wear and tear as would be expected from used vintage items. As with most vintage Hornsea there may be some variation in intensity of shade and sharpness of line in the pattern.
