vintage Hornsea Cornrose set of 4 cups & saucers

A wonderful addition to any mid century collection Vardi’s unmistakable 1970s Cornrose range featuring a floral corn poppy design will bring a stylish retro touch to your morning coffee or afternoon tea with friends. The classic rustic brown Cornrose outlined pattern was created using a resist screen-printing method where a cream background was glazed over the chocolate brown body. Sets of 4 cups with C style flared bottom handles with saucers from the Cornrose range. They all have Hornsea England Oven to Tableware - Oven Microwave Dishwasher Freezer - Cornrose makers mark on the base. All pieces are in great condition with no crazing and no chips only very minor wear and tear as would be expected from used vintage items. As with most vintage Hornsea there is some variation in intensity of shade and sharpness of line in the pattern which we have tried to illustrate in the photos.
