Hornsea Pottery, Saffron pattern storage jars. Following the success of the Heirloom range, the Saffron design was introduced by Hornsea in 1970. Designed by John Clappison, it features a distinctive pattern, of caramel-saffron colour circles forming flower motifs on a background of burnt orange. Original wood lids, refinished and seals replaced where necessary. Currently we have available: A. Medium jars (plain, coffee, sugar and tea) @ £22.00 each B. Small jars (plain, coffee, sugar and tea) @ £18.00 each Dimensions (approx): Medium jar: 16cm high x 12cm diameter. Small jar: 11cm high x 12cm diameter. Lovely condition, no cracks, or chips. These are almost 50 years old, so may be some minor scratches, crazing and signs of use. For multiple pieces we can potentially combine postage, so please message me direct with any questions.
