Vintage Hornsea Yellow Stripe Ceramic Biscuit Barrel Measurements are as follows ~ 10cm diameter opening, 20cm height, 15cm diameter base The Stripe range of coordinated kitchen and tableware from Hornsea was introduced in 1984, and took the shapes of their massively successful Heirloom range. The design itself is brilliant in its simplicity, a glossy white glaze with thin vertical lines and a bold font displaying the intended use. It came in several colourways; red, blue, green, yellow or brown - with the latter being the most rare to find nowadays. As always, we have picked this piece as it would look equally at home in a retro or modern aesthetic. In Good Vintage condition. Please note that there is a hairline crack to the interior of the jar. There is a rubber seal still in place, but it may not be at its best, and the wooden lid has been refinished. All of this is detailed in our photography.
