Vintage Iden Pottery Jug with Hand Painted Leaf Design. Measurements are as follows ~ 9.5cm x 12cm Opening, 13.5cm Height, 8cm Diameter Base We are always happy to find simple, cheerful pieces of studio pottery such as this hand painted jug, and love this leaf design in shades of plum and green. It has a charming rotund shape, perfect for Milk, Cream or a Sauce - or use as a Small Flower Vase. Iden Pottery was founded in Rye, Sussex by Dennis Townsend when he left Rye Pottery in 1959. Their English pottery went on to be sold in Harrods and Heal’s and are generally well regarded for their quality of design and finish.
