Vintage industrial hall cupboard, shoe storage. This fabulous piece is a bit like marmite, you’ll either love it or hate it! The paintwork is amazing with layers of old grey, white and red paint showing through. The surface has been thoroughly sanded so there is no loose paintwork. There are some areas where someone has started to strip it down and then given up. All that f this has had a really good dark wax finish to protect the paintwork and the wood. It has its original handles which did have layers of rust but they have been sanded back. This cupboard would be ideal as a hallway storage cupboard for storing shoes etc in an industrial setting, unusually the doors both open out the same way. It is ideal for someone who likes a rustic home. Inside there are three shelves which could be moved up or down if needed.
