Vintage 'Iris' Hand Painted Bowl

This stunning bowl was made in the 1940s by Shorter and Sons Ltd. It is designed in the shape of a ribbed leaf and glazed in shaded grey. On top of that is an embossed design of a blue and yellow iris and green stems and leaves all hand painted. It is in very good condition for its age with no chips or cracks. It does have crazing due to its age but you need to look close to notice it. It measures about 25cm by 25cm and is 7cm at its highest point and has a built in stand.
