Vintage Italian Silver Umbrella / Parasol

A charming silver parasol / umbrella trinket. The item is hallmarked on the side of the parasol with 925 indicating silver and the makers mark which is difficult to read but potentially reads Argentoblu which is an Italian silversmith company working in Arezzo. This trinket was popular as a wedding favour and traditionally given as a sign of wealth and prosperity in the 1980’s and 90’s. The parasol is a beautiful example of craftsmanship, there is fabulous detail to the edge of the parasol and the lovely handle in a twisted design with a tiny loop at the end of the handle. This would make a unique gift to a loved one. It has a lovely vintage age and patina, as expected in a piece of this age. The handle of the parasol at certain angles look slightly askew but does not detract from this charming and delightful piece of silver.
