Stunning vintage kantha quilt throw - such a beautiful piece. Measuring 2.1m x 1.5m, this is a very beautiful vintage Kantha quilt with a different pattern on each side. Super versatile, would be lovely used as a bed quilt or as a cosy throw/blanket in living rooms. Please see the phtos which show the tiny mends, frays and faint marks, as is traditional. Kantha quilts are made by hand-stitching many layers of recycled silk or cotton saris with extra embroidery added in the traditional Bengal style to produce beautiful, sustainable unique designs.
