Vintage Kroon L'ancora deer bud vase - Herman Van

Quirky and cute bud vase that features a stylized deer and wood effect. An epitome of mid-century modern kitsch, this piece was created by Herman Van Den Kroonenberg for Goes, a city in the South West of the Netherlands. It is made of ceramic, but it is painted to give a matte wood effect (kera-teak) and the deer is outlined in sgraffito with a gloss glaze which makes it pop. On the bottom it satys V60, colorwood. This piece would be perfect for a kitsch at home tiki bar or as part of a maximalist interior. A great little vase that would hold a small bouquet. This is a vintage item and so may show signs of its previous life. There is some discolouration to the rim and some very small scuffs to the side which are commensurate with age.
