This is a really lovely vintage box from Kashmir, dating from probably the 1950s or 1960s. These older ones have a lot of charm and more individuality in the painting. I think they are so much more appealing than the more formulaic modern ones. This particular one was made by The Meher Brothers in Kashmir. PB015 Hand Made in India'. 5cm high x 11.5cm wide x 9cm deep. Condition is really good for its age.
