This is a fabulous large mcm platter by Kathie Winkle for Ironstone Broadhurst. The pattern is 'Kontiki' but the platter is unusual in having a black centre where most are white. This may have been added later but looks original. Kathie Winkle made over 120 designs for Broadhurst in the 50s and 60s and was one of the most successful female cerami. designers of the time.
