Vintage Mid Century Modern / Art Deco Square Ceramic Ashtray, in a Blue Green Seafoam Colour with a striking Dripware Glaze. Measurements are as follows ~ 10cm x 10cm Across, 3.5cm Tall, 11cm x 11cm Base In Excellent Vintage condition. From the curved, smooth edges to the sublime colour and dripware glaze - this super-stylish ashtray is straight out of Mad Men or the lobby of a Palm Springs Hotel - and was far too cool for us to leave behind, even as non-smokers! We think this piece would also make an excellent trinket dish for rings and things, or soap dish, for those looking to become a little more eco friendly and make the switch back to good old fashioned bars of soap! It is stamped 104 on the base, but we are unable to track down the maker. As always, we have picked this piece as it would look equally at home in a retro or modern aesthetic.
