A Mid Century Scandinavian oil painting; an abstract composition of buildings in a narrow street dated and inscribed to reverse ‘Street London 1957’, by the Swedish listed artist Lars Bertle (born 1925). This is a darker, atmospheric picture in a flat, unvarnished finish. •Oil on canvas laid onto board •Signed to front Lars B (Lars Bertle b.1925) •Dated and titled to reverse 1952 •Framed size 30.25” x 14.25” (77cm x 36cm) •Canvas in vintage condition, canvas is laid down onto board - canvas has lifted slightly in places.
