Vintage 1950s Small Mid Century Ceramic Vase with Hand Painted Abstract Circles Pattern. Measurements are as follows ~ 3.5cm diameter opening, 10cm height, 4cm base We love the evocative Mondrian-esque pattern of this shapely MCM vase, and it’s small yet elegant shape. It is a very pale grey / off white colour with the pattern in black and filled in with yellow, blue and red. It is marked Made in West Germany on the base, and according to online research, we believe the manufacturer to be Schmider. And the designs by Anneliese Beckh - Schmider’s main designer between 1950 and 1983. As always, we have picked this piece as it would look equally at home in a retro or modern aesthetic.
