This is an excellent example of a murano glass clown. Made in Venice and I approximate this piece to be Circa 60's. This charming clown has a clear and blue body suit with mottled colours inside of the clear glass. He has a big orange bow tie, with large white gloves. The clown has a big red smile with orange hair, that has little spiky edges, showing the beautiful attention to detail His hat is also blue and he wears big black shows. He stands at 22cm tall and is approximately 12cm in length. I'm overall very good vintage condition. There is a slight mark on the back of the glass and top of the hat, but it is likely these are from where the hot glass was laid.down doing manufacture and aren't hugely noticeable....more
