Vintage oak sideboard having a frontal carved design over two single cupboards (one is lined with a shelf and the other open); over two drawers and all resting on stretchered turned supports. The sideboard has a decorative trim and is furnished with decorative metal handles. Historically it looks as though this is a dresser base as there is a cut out section and two holes to the top - see photographs. However, it does not detract from the sideboard. It is great for storage and its simple design makes it versatile to fit in most interiors. There is evidence of minimal historic worm, but it is inactive, has been treated and in no way interferes with the integrity of the structure.
