A beautiful vintage original oriental parasol. The parasol is made from bamboo and fabric. The fact it is made from fabric (silk I believe) and not paper, shows that this was a more expensive, high quality piece when it was made. It also confirms its older age, as silk in more recent times was replaced by waxed paper. The parasol features a lovely soft pastel floral pattern, which shimmers softly in the light.
