We've been mildly obsessed with Middle Eastern/Persian ceramics lately, and this is no exception! The Qājār period refers to the ruling dynasty of Iran from 1794 to 1925. During this time, the region produced stunning ceramics and motifs. This is not antique, but rather a vintage replica of pieces from the time. The fish motif was from an area call Nishapur, which oddly was land locked and not even near the sea! A stunning piece with endless uses.
