Tactile and eye-catching earthenware vase by Prinknash . They are made of their characteristic red clay with metallic glaze which has a gorgeous lustre sheen. Prinknash pottery was founded by Benedictine monks in Gloucestershire, England in the 1940s and continued to produce pottery until 1997. A wonderful hand thrown piece with a timeless design that would make an excellent addition to any living or dining room. This is a vintage item and so may show signs of its previous life. There is a scuff down the back of the vase, but no chips, cracks or crazing. Please see photos for details. The vase is approximately 16.5cm in height, and 11cm at the widest point.
