This earthenware terracotta pot was used to make stews in provencal France. This pot would make a wonderful vase for your wildflowers and tulips or a great pot for your cooking utensils. This vase would look at home in a minimal or maximalist kitchen or dining room table. The vase has some dark marks to the underside from use in cooking stews and the glaze has crazing throughout, showing its age with this beautiful patina but no chips or cracks. The handles are the best part of the vase in their attractive ribbed style.
