Vintage mid Century Pyrex Flameware teapot. First introduced by Pyrex in the 1950’s. It’s made with the signature clear Pyrex durable tempered glass. Bulbous shape. Clear glass with a blue tint on the bottom, dates the teapot from 1946 onwards. A feature of the Flameware range is the detachable handle, which is held in-place by a stainless steel band. Capacity is marked as 6 cup. Model number 8446. The teapot is in good sound used vintage condition. There are clear signs of usage, but no apparent chips to the glassware.
