Vintage Stainless Steel Horn, Brass and bone inlay salad serving spoons by S.A. Haddad & Co. The set is a hand-carved and painted design of the HudHud Hoopoe, a now extinct bird once native to the Jezzine area of Lebanon. The bird handles are carved from horn with brass wings and colourful inlay detail. The art of this traditional cutlery was started 1770 with the Haddad family. Made in Lebanon. These are approximately 24cm long. Some signs of wear especially on the back of the spoons as can be seen in the photos and one of the handles is missing a little feather on the birds head.
