The sale is for both dishes together. 1960/70s Casserole Dish with lid, and vegetable serving dish produced by Egersund Norway, with beautiful hand-drawn illustrations, in a wonderful modern folk style. Designed by Kåre Blokk Johansen in 1970, this art pottery piece was in production until 1976, just a few years before the closure of Egersund Fajanse in 1979. Despite the scarcity of information available about Kåre Blokk Johansen, his iconic designs speak for themselves. As the company's last remaining designer, he left a lasting mark on Egersund's legacy. *The lid on the casserole dish has a hairline crack - which we have magnified in a photo. In our opinion it does but detract from the piece, so have decided to include it in our store. If you choose to purchase please be assured you can return if you are dissatisfied in anyway.
