A Mid Century Modern Scandinavian oil on canvas painting of trees in a colour palette of dark greens by Swedish listed artist Per Falk (1924-1982). This is a dark, atmospheric picture in a flat, unvarnished finish which benefits from good daylight/lighting. •Oil on canvas •Circa 1950 •Framed size 26.5” x 21.75” (67.5cm x 55.5cm) •Canvas in vintage condition, canvas is intact and paint stable. The white areas are where the artist has left the canvas open. •Held in its original simple wooden frame possibly made by the artist, with a tarnished finish and separation to corners, nibbles to the wood where knots were, marks and scratches to the frame.
