Beautiful and unusual wine decanter from crica 1950/1960's. The deep bronze colour bottle is entwined with Scoubidou plastic which is a knotting craft that originated in France in the late 1950's. The green, yellow and blue knotting is interwoven with gold thread and has a lovely gold chain from the the cap hangs when removed from the bottle. The neck of the bottle is fitted with a cork which shows signs of wear. Fun fact: Scoubidou is named after the song of the same name by Sacha Distel! 🎤 28cm tall and 13cm wide at the widest point.
