This beautiful Danish inspired teak longline sideboard was designed by John Herbert for British company A Younger Ltd in the 1960's. The design is part of the range called 'Fonseca' and it is from an award winning series of furniture which John Herbert designed for the company. This piece has some beautifully simplistic design throughout and is in fantastic unrestored condition. Featuring large cupboards at either end split with a bank of three drawers in the centre. Quality is seen throughout from the piano hinges to the dovetail joinery along with sculptured solid teak stretcher base and finished with a clean cut top with excessive overhang on the ends. In very good vintage condition, however as with all mid century and vintage furniture there will be minimal signs of use. Please review the photos - happy to answer any questions.
