Vintage oil landscape by Heather Craigmile, signed and indistinctly dated. A framed, oil on canvas, original artwork. Heather Craigmile is a Welsh artist who was born in 1925. The painting depicts a landscape (probably Wales) with a river and trees in the fore and midground, and hills in the distance. The artist has used glowing, sunset colours that lend the landscape a magical quality. A loose, impressionist style with impasto brushwork. The black and gold wooden frame perfectly offsets the painting. Would incorporate well into a vintage interior scheme or add a subtle pop of colour to a more modern decor. Frame size: 26.5cm high, 34.3cm wide, 4cm deep. Frame opening: 17cm high, 24.8cm wide. Condition: In excellent vinatge condition. Vintage and antique items will show marks commensurate with age.
