Vintage 1970s Tonal Brown Earthenware Vase with Leaf / Bamboo Design in Excellent vintage condition. This has been made in unglazed, textured ceramic with a somewhat Japanese feel, although it is very similar in style to the German Sgrafo ceramics of this time. The base is completely unmarked - so we do not know it’s true provenance. We love the earthy handmade feel of this smooth and shapely vase, and the painterly feel of the leaf design. As always, we have picked this piece as it would look equally at home in a retro or modern aesthetic.
