Fabulous vintage gilded sunburst mirror - I'm guessing it's mid century as the frame is a bakelite type resin material. It's in excellent condition with an aged patina and original convex mirror. I've cleaned it thoroughly and sealed the patina with beeswax. As with all my antique and vintage pieces this has evidence of its previous life adding to its uniqueness, character and charm - there are a couple of small scuffs to the surface of the mirror and some areas of wear to the gilding where the red underpainting is visible, plus some verdigris on the edges of some of the rays. 57.5cm x 38cm...more
