Thonet bentwood stool , model 4601. 1960s Wicker . This is probably produced in the the late 30s early 40s. A bentwood stool possibly produced by Thonet. A classic bentwood stool with cane seat, probably handmade in Poland. Beech frame and legs and cane/rattan seat. The wooden frame has a lovely honey tone The legs presents a lovely shape. Nice vintage condition with some characterful patination and wear on the wood. Thonet pieces are renowned for their superb quality. A timeless design that will complement any interior. Excellent in a reception space or hallway, kitchen as extra seating, these stools can also be used as a plant or book stands or to add character and interest to any corner of your home.
