Vintage Off-White Wedgwood Serving Dish from 1935 Hand Painted with Asparagus, Prawns, Sardines, Peas & Leaves. Measurements are as follows ~ 32cm Across, 15cm Width, 3cm Height We love this slightly quirky and undeniably fun and summery serving platter, with beautifully illustrated vegetables and seafood ready for presenting Hors d'oeuvre, Crudités, dips or appetisers! It is heavier stoneware than one mught usually expect from Wedgwood, and the stamp on the reverse dates it to 1935. We presume it to be rare, as we can’t find out anything else about it, so is a great piece for a collector. As always, we have picked this piece as it would look equally at home in a retro or modern aesthetic. In overall Good vintage condition - but please note that there are a few 'nibbles' here and there in the ceramic, and crazing of the glaze - which we feel are respectful of the age of the piece - and have tried to show in our photographs.
