*Vintage Wedgwood Dish - Ferrara Pattern - 1940’s*

The dish is marked on the base: Ferrara of Etruria Wedgwood and Barlastan Made in England It looks/feels like a little trinket dish but it could be a saucer although doesn’t fit the measurements of other saucers I’ve seen whilst researching. WEDGWOOD - 'Ferrara' - Vintage ceramic dish - transfer decorated in red (Mulberry) on a cream background - elaborate decoration featuring a central panel with a ship and castle within a landscape - floral border - floral band to the outside wall - impressed and printed marks on the base - United Kingdom - circa 1940’s I believe. It is approximately 10.5cm wide and is in really lovely vintage condition with only very minor signs of wear, commensurate with age. PLEASE NOTE: ***Item bought as seen.
