This is a very stylish vintage West German drip glaze jug. Circa: 1940s-1950’s and most likely by Bay Keramik. A traditional, elegant and stylised design in white paste with drip glaze, consisting of a rich chocolate brown bowl with horizontal banding that fades to a white trumpet-shaped neck with grey highlights to the rim and twisted handle. Manufacturers mark on the base: 588 17 Germany This piece is showing signs of use and wear (commensurate with age) but is otherwise in excellent condition. ***Please see pics for details.*** Lots of other items listed, so please do have look. ***Item bought as seen.
