Carved stone ashtray c. 1970s made in West Germany for Lotus Cars, most likely as form of collectable merchandise or memorabilia. Perfectly rectangular in shape, with a shallow dip in the middle and a brass 'Lotus' branded square in the top right corner. The stone is a lovely natural beige with a darker, burnt orange veining pattern, and has been treated with a non-burn finish. Smoker or not, this piece would make a stylish coffee table edition. Perfect for collecting trinkets or holding keys, otherwise pop it on a bureau and use it as a desk tidy or paper weight. H: 2cm W: 12.8cm D: 9cm ~~ All items, sold as seen.
