Vintage White Casa Pupo Pineapple Preserve Pot, made in Portugal. Measurements are as follows ~ Plate 13cm diameter Pot 15cm height, 6cm opening We love a novelty serving vessel, and this jam pot will add a quirky yet chic touch to the Kitchen or Dining Table! It would also make a whimsical sugar bowl, or work as a fun addition to your dressing table for storing trinkets or knick knacks! Casa Pupo had a successful business in the UK during the 1960s and 1970s with their first shop on Pimlico Road in London. They sold ceramics, bedding, lamp bases and rugs imported from Spain and Portugal. Many Casa Pupo objects were white, such as this one, but they also designed pieces with vibrant colours and quirky features. After much success, the company sadly went out of business in the 1980s. As always, we have picked this piece as it will look equally at home in a retro or modern aesthetic. In excellent vintage condition, but please note that there are a couple of teeny grazes to the glaze on the leaves - see our pictures for more details.
