Medium Sized Vintage Peak Pottery Mantle Vase in a Classic Grecian Style and White-Cream Colour. We love a good mantle vase, perfect for creating a dramatic centrepiece in a room with a floral arrangement or as a planter for indoor bulbs. The cream colour and pared back Grecian style is very much reminiscent of the Wedgwood Moonstone style, and the perfect base for colourful blooms, or as a chic stand-alone ornament. As always, we have picked this piece as it would look equally at home in a retro or modern aesthetic. Made by Peak in England, we weren’t able to find out much about this pottery! But would guess that this design would have originally been popular in the 1930s and 1950s. Measurements are as follows ~ 30 x 9cm Opening, 13cm Tall, 15 x 8.5cm Base In Excellent Vintage condition, with no chips or cracks - but please be aware that there is some surface crazing that becomes more visible when the vase is filled with water....more
