A vintage Scandinavian rise and fall ceiling light. We’re unsure of the maker but based on research online we believe it to originate from Denmark, as did many similar designs in the 1970s and 1980s. This is the perfect light for hanging over your dining table. Bring it down to table level for mealtime to add atmosphere - just pull the brass handle down to adjust. When you’re done, put it back into position by just pushing it up, so it doesn’t get in the way. The old wiring is in good condition, however it has been cut short at the top so it will require extending so that it can be connected to the lighting circuit in your home. It will also require mounting to the ceiling with a hook or chain. We strongly recommend that this work is done and certified by a professional electrician.
