Vintage/Retro 80s/90s Arts & Crafts Style Curtains

Age unknown but probably between the 1980s-modern. A fabulous pair of likely cotton curtains with a busy all over arts & crafts style pattern of flowers, foliage and exotic birds. On a cream background with greens, blues, browns, white and orangy-red hues throughout the illustration. Lined in also a likely cotton fabric with a pink-beige tone and with pencil pleat heading tape (been gathered but untied on an end of each curtain so can be regathered to desired width). The Arts And Crafts Movement was between about 1880 and 1920 and at times had artistic influence from the Middle Ages, which this fabric has hints of throughout. These could remain as curtains or the fabric used to create something new. Size Approx (each curtain, ungathered) - Width: 22" Length/Drop: 41 1/2" A few small marks on the lining & some darkened, likely dust marks, to the end cords on the heading tape on one end (I haven't attempted to clean but they would all likely wash out - I'm happy to try if you'd like me to) and some fraying to the untied tape cord ends which does not alter their ability to be pulled. The washing instructions on the heading tape have faded slightly too. Wonderful condition overall....more
