This antique drinks cabinet by J Serlin & Sons is a stunning example of Art Deco style. The four Serlin brothers arrived in London from Poland in the first decade of the 20th century; Reuben in 1905, Lazarus in 1906, Joseph in 1908 and Gershon (later known as George) in 1910. They were a close-knit family and all worked together from 1910-14. After the First World War they established their own firm, each later being joined by their respective sons, all in and around Columbia Road, off Hackney Road. By 1997 none of the brothers firms were in existence. Crafted from beautiful walnut wood veneer, this free-standing cabinet features two glass sliding doors and three shelves, providing ample space for displaying your curios or storing your favorite drinks. The cabinet is 125 cm high, 95 cm long, and 34 cm wide, making it the perfect addition to any living space.
