A very rustic and fairly heavy, wheel-thrown ceramic pie or quiche dish finished in a White Tin glaze on the inside only. The White Tin glaze allows the freckles to show from the rustic clay. The outside of the dish has been left glaze free, to allow the natural beauty of the flecked clay to show and which also gives a nice rustic contrast. Handcrafted with all of the care and attention that you would expect from an artisan and would make a perfect gift for a food lover! For use in the oven: *Always preheat the oven with the ceramic dish to 350° or 175F to avoid Thermal Shock.
