WHITE & NEWTON TEAK AFROMOSIA CHEST OF DRAWERS 1960s MCM. A superbly crafted 1960s Item By White & Newton of Portsmouth. The company favoured the use of teak in many of its staple designs, but on its higher end pieces used more luxurious timbers such as rosewood and afromosia. This chest of drawers uses contrasts warm teak and dark rich Afromosia, a stunning colour combination We’ve had some fab White & Newton teak sideboards, but this is the nicest chest of drawers we’ve seen by them . Its just that bit more exciting than other chests, nice quality and a really great size . We’ve given them a light clean and then a quick polish. They’re now in lovely condition . RETAINS ITS ORIGINAL LABEL Its 79.5cms wide , 45deep and 114.5cms high We have the whole bedroom suite available as separate items in our shop including the dressing table and his and her wardrobes....more
