Made of cast iron in a cross-cross to be able to fold flat it is then woven with wicker in a basket style weave. This rack from the 1950s can be opened to stand and hold either magazines or record LPs (anything really). It has padded feet which have not perished and little iron loops at each top corner. All in all it’s attractive, functional and in very good vintage condition. It also has a stripe on one side which comes from a slightly darker wicker being used, but it looks purposeful. It measures 49 cm high flat or 37.5 open the top is 47.5cm wide with the basket area 28.5cm deep. the legs are 18cm long. I used recycled or sustainable packaging only....more
