Beautiful vintage wine caddy c. 1950/60s, hand woven with silver plated wire. Most likely French or Italian, it was made to act as a breathing basket for a bottle of wine, and has a carry handle too so it can be transported from kitchen to table. It has an incredible amount of detail, from the woven trellis body to the twisted rope style handle, and would make a great gift for a wine lover or avid host!
