Vintage Avon Avonshire empty perfume bottle. This vintage Avon bottle was made as part of the Avonshire Blue collection. Sometimes known as Avonshire Wedgewood Blue, for its resemblance to the Wedgewood's distinctive style, thus line was released between 1971 and 1974. The bottle sits on a footed base, and its sides are decorated with Grecian figures and angels under a leafy tree. The ribbed neck of the bottle rises to the opening, which is still stopped firmly with its blue stopper. The plastic of the stopper still remains. It once held 6 FL. OZ. of somewhere cologne. It is approximately 8 1/2" tall and 2" wide. It is in very good condition and would make a beautiful decorative piece....more
