***A Pair Of Oriental Famille Rose Style Vases***

These are a pair of very pretty vintage vases (one medium vase and one slightly smaller vase). Theme of the design: "freshmen flirting". Approximate date of manufacture 1960s or 1970s. The vases are in the style of the Tongzhi culture. Also, an important feature of this vase is the selection of flowers. This type of drawing is called Famille Rose. The vases have gilded rims. Manufacturers mark on the base: Chinese characters (please see pictures). These items have a few marks and dings and are showing signs of use and wear to the decoration (commensurate with age). ***Please see pics for details.*** Bought by my mum 40+ years ago when she was going through her collectibles/antiquing phase but now all these items are boxed up in storage and gathering dust.
