A charming majolica barbotine ceramic asparagus serving dish or cradle made in France circa the early 1900's. This asparagus drainer features shades of brown, cream and various shades of green. The curved bundled asparagus spears sit on raised feet in the shape of leaves. The centre has a set of holes for draining. This is in good condition for an antique item with some signs of wear as you would expect. There is one small chip on the base as seen in the pictures and crazing lines to the graze which add to its charm. If you would like more information, images or measurements please do get in touch.
