This is a stunning, fully glazed Jackfield, antique teapot, produced in Shropshire, England in the late 1800s Made from red clay with a thick black glaze and with hand painted flowers in pink, white and yellow on a green Matt base, a floral design is to both sides along with gold gilt throughout Lovely condition for its age, but does have some nibbles the main one being on the underside of the lid which cannot be seen when the lid is on the pot Small nibble to outside rim and a couple of tiny ones on the handle Some fading to areas of the gold gilt Despite it’s little imperfections this teapot is still a beautiful decorative antique teapot Please see all photos as they form part of the description Height 17cm Width from end of spout to end of handle 23cm Thank you for visiting my little vintage shop...more
