This characterful bumbles is painted on a piece of reclaimed larch wood which has been blackened with the Japanese technique of shou sugi ban scorching. This creates a unique sheen and texture and contrasts beautifully with the edges which have been embellished with antiqued gold. The entire piece has been sealed with several layers of lacquer and can be displayed as a shelf sitter or wall hung. Please note that this piece has surface blemishes that add to its uniqueness..
